Brighter Places will create a mix of social-rent and shared ownership housing connected to the council's district heating network. We were directly involved in the competition and stakeholder process.

the Chosen Design: BDP

We were disappointed in the selection of BDP's design, as we felt it didn't fully reflect the area's heritage or Neighbourhood Plan, unlike other designs from Alec French, for example.

We will continue to engage with the team and hope that any comments we make on future planning applications will be considered.

We are hopeful that the developers remain open to discussion to ensure the development's success.
