new Henry street

This development would utilise space currently occupied by a Calor Gas storage yard and the Invisible Circus HQ and 16 creative studios. The area is bordered by Kingsland Road, Sussex Street, Alfred Street and the Bristol & Bath Railway Path. The development would also bring back a long lost street called Henry Street.

637 student accommodation, light industrial spaces, a supermarket and bike parking will be built along with the possibility of 8 townhouses and improving the Bristol to Bath bike path. Dominus, AHMM and CTF are working on the development plans together.

This development would bring jobs, safer streets and better transport infrastructure to an area that suffers from a lack of all three. Considerations such as adding townhouses to the development, employing Community Liaison Officers and staggering the heights of the buildings away from the existing residences, have been taken to ensure the development has a positive effect on the community.
